Honor Among Thieves Cover Revealed

Photo: Since you guys are so great to us, we have a special treat for you. Here's an exclusive reveal of the new cover to James S. A. Corey's upcoming novel, Star Wars: Honor Among Thieves! We're really excited to show you guys the great cover art by Alan Brooks featuring a new character, Scarlet Hark. We're big fans of this new character and think you will be too. And don't forget to pre-order the book now. It will be hitting shelves and your devices March 4th.
Today, Del Rey released an "exclusive reveal of the new cover"
for the upcoming novel Star Wars: Honor Among Thieves. (Formerly known as Star Wars: Empire and Rebellion: Honor Among Thieves, which, lest we not forget, can be abbreviated to SWEARHAT.)

Honor Among Thieves is written by James S. A. Corey, which is the pen name for authors Daniel Abraham and Ty Franck.

This cover gives us our first look at a new character, the "brash rebel agent" Scarlet Hark. She looks a bit like Chloe Bennet to me, or maybe I've just got Agents of SHIELD on the brain. I'm relieved to see that she's wearing a modest costume that could do with some more wrinkles, but doesn't bring to mind Mara Jade's catsuit.

The complete blurb for Honor Among Thieves came out on September 9:

When the mission is to extract a high-level rebel spy from the very heart of the Empire, Leia Organa knows the best man for the job is Han Solo—something the princess and the smuggler can finally agree on. After all, for a guy who broke into an Imperial cell block and helped destroy the Death Star, the assignment sounds simple enough.
But when Han locates the brash rebel agent, Scarlet Hark, she’s determined to stay behind enemy lines. A pirate plans to sell a cache of stolen secrets that the Empire would destroy entire worlds to protect—including the planet where Leia is currently meeting with rebel sympathizers. Scarlet wants to track down the thief and steal the bounty herself, and Han has no choice but to go along if he’s to keep everyone involved from getting themselves killed. From teeming city streets to a lethal jungle to a trap-filled alien temple, Han, Chewbacca, Leia, and their daring new comrade confront one ambush, double cross, and firestorm after another as they try to keep crucial intel out of Imperial hands.
But even with the crack support of Luke Skywalker’s X-Wing squadron, the Alliance heroes may be hopelessly outgunned in their final battle for the highest of stakes: the power to liberate the galaxy from tyranny or ensure the Empire’s reign of darkness forever.
The previously released cover looked like this:

The final image doesn't so closely follow the pattern set down by the first Empire and Rebellion novel, Razor's Edge:

Razors Edge

The "Empire and Rebellion" subtitle has also been dropped. Has a major change been made to the proposed Empire and Rebellion trilogy? No matter what happens, we'll always have SWEARHAT.
